Test for coronavirus COVID-19 IgM/ gG Ab - 25 pcs

Rapid test for COVID-19 IgM/IgG Ab is a cassette test that is used to detect IgM and IgG antibodies directed against SARS-CoV-2 in the detection of COVID-19 disease. The principle of the test is based on the detection of IgM and IgG antibodies in human serum, plasma and whole blood. The result of such a test can be read within 10-15 minutes.

A positive test result may indicate a past infection - IgG class, or an ongoing infection - IgM class.

Coronaviruses are microbes that very often cause colds and other upper respiratory tract infections. COVID-19 spreads mainly through the droplet route, i.e. when sneezing or coughing by infected persons. Clinical signs include fever, dry cough, exhaustion, difficulty breathing and muscle aches.

The Core tests® COVID-19 IgM/IgG Ab test is based on a colloidal gold detection method, which allows patients to determine IgM/IgG antibodies. IgM antibodies can be detected using the test 4-12 days after infection. Later, in turn, IgG antibodies are detected.

HOW TO PERFORM THE TEST:

Read the instructions before performing the test. Bring the packaged test bag to room temperature (15-30 °C) before testing. Do not open the purse until you are ready from the start of the test:

1. Remove the test from the sealed bag and place it on a flat, clean and dry surface.
2. Add 10μL of fresh sample to the sample hole with the attached pipette.
3. Holding the buffer bottle vertically, add 2 drops to the sample opening.
4. Read the result within 15 minutes. Do not read after 15 minutes.

Test method for serum/plasma sample:

1. Add 1 drop of serum/plasma.
2. Add 2 drops of thinner.
3. Wait for the result of 15 minutes.

Test method for whole blood sample:

1. Disinfect your finger.
2. Prick the fingertip with a disposable lancet.
3. Draw blood with a pipette.
4. Add 1 drop of whole blood.
5. Add 2 drops of thinner.
6. Wait for the result of 15 minutes.

RESULT INTERPRETATION:

• IgG and IgM positive result - colored control line C and colored lines in T1 and T2 areas visible in the test window.
• IgM positive - two colored lines visible, one in the T1 area, the other in the C control area
• IgG positive result - two colored lines visible, one in the T2 area, the other in the control area
• Negative result - one line visible in control area C, no line in area T1/T2
• Invalid test - no colored line appears in control C, the test results are invalid regardless of the presence or absence of a line in the test area. This indicates an incorrect test performance or test defect. It is recommended to repeat the test using a new test.
