WiFi module ESP-01S ESP8266EX Arduino

ESP-01S is a very popular WiFi module used in the broadly understood IoT. The board has an ESP8266EX chip by Espressif with 1MB Flash memory. The ESP8266EX uses the Tensilica L106 32-bit RISC processor for ultra-low power consumption and a maximum clock speed of 160MHz. The WiFi antenna is located on the PCB, so there is no need for an external antenna. There is a pin map on the bottom of the PCB.

ESP-01S is an upgraded version of ESP-01. One of the amendments is the addition of pull-up resistors on the RST and CS lines. Thanks to this solution, there is no need to connect them in order to program the system. The stability of the work has also been improved, and the range has also been slightly increased.

The module can be programmed using the scripting language LUA, with the Arduino IDE or AT commands.
