Jiban soil is a substrate dedicated to freshwater aquariums. It was created by top experts in the fields of chemistry, biology and environmental engineering. Only natural ingredients are used in the production process of Jiban soil. The substrate is designed for high tech aquariums with good lighting and CO2 fertilization system. Due to its structure, the substrate allows plants to grow roots properly. Jiban soil gradually releases nutrients into the aquarium. Thanks to its high ion-exchange capacity, the substrate stabilizes aquarium water parameters. The substrate lowers the total and carbonate hardness, improves the pH of the water.
Application instructions:
The substrate is ready to use, do not rinse it. It should not be mixed with substrates, substrate pads from other manufacturers. In a newly established aquarium, cover the bottom surface with a minimum 6 cm layer of Jiban soil 1. Moisten the substrate generously with water and leave it for about 30-45 minutes. Plant the plants carefully with tweezers, plunging their roots into the substrate. For the first 4 weeks, a 25-50% water change twice a week is recommended until the aquarium is stabilized. When filling the tank for the first time and water changes, water parameters are again stabilized after some time. It is recommended to use RO water with the addition of Ishiko plant mineral mineralizer. It is allowed to use tap water with a total hardness of not more than 20odH, but then the substrate loses ion-exchange properties faster.
1- In order to create an ideal environment for plant roots and extend the life of the substrate, it is recommended to use Ganban power base.
Safety and storage instructions
Keep out of the reach of children! The substrate is not suitable for consumption! Avoid contact of soiled hands with eyes. If it gets into the eyes, rinse carefully with water for several minutes. If irritation persists, seek medical advice. Remove soiled hands and skin with soap and water. Store at room temperature, protect from direct sunlight. Keep incompletely emptied container tightly closed.
